Today Monday April 25 2016 Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs(SIPA) presents the inaugural Global Digital Futures Policy Forum at the Italian Academy in NYC. Forum is envisioned as a long-term intellectual initiative to reimagine our digital future, focus on the potential benefits and costs arising from global digital technology changes and, importantly, anticipate public policy solutions to emerging problems that will shape the future of society and the economy for generations to come. The upcoming forum will consider both domestic and international dimensions of data governance in the context of technological change and globalization. Speakers at today's event include DARPA Director Dr. Arati Prabhakar, Laura DeNardis, Daniel Sepulveda, Frank Pasquale, and Eli Noam. The event will be webcast live via the Internet Society Livestream Channels.
