Hi Seun, It's a good question, and I don't have the institutional knowledge to be able to provide a definitive response. But my initial reaction is: given our limited resources, surely we would only lend our support to campaigns that relate to the actual scope of our (limited) policy making authority? This is no judgement on this letter in particular, which I don't on the surface find objectionable but I haven't had the time this week to give it much consideration. That being said, I'd like to think we would work on the basis of consensus — if a number of NCSG members are responding to this message with +1s or otherwise indicating their support, and the issue is broadly related to ICANN's remit, it might be appropriate for us to sign on too. Best wishes, Ayden
