I would like to join in the congratulatory messages by extending my best wishes to Farzi. She is highly involved in the NCSG's policy-related outputs and with our community more broadly. For NCUC members like myself who are based in Europe, we periodically receive a newsletter from Farzi updating us on the work of the NCUC Executive Committee and suggesting ways in which we can become more engaged in NCUC activities. Given recent discussions around community communication and how this might be improved, I feel it is only fair to acknowledge that some of our elected representatives do a very good job as it is updating us on the inner workings of the NCUC. Now that Farzi will be representing the NCSG on the CCWG-IG, I hope we might also periodically receive some updates on what this working group is up to. For me, it is one of the more mysterious but fascinating working groups, focusing on ICANN’s role in the larger Internet governance ecosystem, so, speaking for myself here, I know that I would like to kept posted on its activities.
Thanks also to Arsène for stepping forward and offering to serve on the CCWG-IG; I wish you much success now and in the future.
