Hi Carlos,

speaking as the co-chair of CCWG on Internet Governance. I think there are
some confusion here.

There was no change in CCWG structure or charter, we didn't get any
indication on that matter from any chartering organizations. As fact, since
Marrakech meeting GNSO council asked for reports, asked questions about the
charter, outcomes etc and reached the co-chairs of CCWG-IG for that but it
cannot alone by make changes without consulting with other chartering
organizations.

the working group is always open to volunteers to participate and they are
welcome, there is no limitation on that area. what is raised here is about
replacement of representative to CCWG-IG. you are there as liaison for GNSO
council and I am the co-chair for GNSO but we are not representatives for
NCSG

the Board working group on IG is not related to this and the CCWG-IG will
coordinate with it as we discussed in Helsinki F2F meeting, when MArkus
Krummer from the ICANN board and the chair of that WG came by our
invitation.

Best,

Rafik
