Kind Regards renata and everyone! It is an honor to always participate in this kind and serious group. I was interested in the December IFG proposal, but it's just on my birthday and the holidays. Likewise, if there is an event per year that interests me and I can go, happy to share and learn. Always to your orders and service on line.2017-03-19 20:29 GMT-03:00 McLaughlin, Lisa <[log in to unmask]>:Hello to Renata and all,I don't remember that being included on earlier calls either. I would hesitate before "many," as in the "1st of many."Also, it's notable that CSW61 just recognized "gender and media" as a priority item for CSW62 publicly last week (this doesn't seem to have been announced broadly, but, as someone who has been involve with the Global Alliance on Media and Gender since its inception, I received the news early). The WSIS Forum may be trying to get on board with that, but, from experience, I question how long will be the attention span as relates to gender and media and/or gender and Internet governance.Regards,Lisa____________________________________________________________ For MJF course waitlist, go to this site: http://units.miamioh.edu/mjf/ Lisa McLaughlin, Ph.D.Associate Professor, Department of Media, Journalism (Media and Culture Program) & Film and the Department of Global and Intercultural Studies (Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Program)Miami University-OhioUSAContact:Department of Media, Journalism & FilmWilliams HallMiami UniversityOxford, OH 45056USATele: 513-529-3547Fax: 513-529-1835Email: [log in to unmask]

I don't remember this note in event forms before. Maybe it is a 1st
time of many.
