NEW: ICANN Board Convenes Second IANA Naming Function Review (IFR2)

The IFR is an accountability mechanism created as part of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) stewardship transition to ensure that ICANN's IANA work through Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) meets the needs and expectations of its naming customers.

The Board Strategic Planning Committee (BSPC) leads the strategic planning process on behalf of the Board, and ICANN org works closely with the BSPC and the Board to support this work. The outcome of this process will be a new five-year strategic plan.
