NEW: ICANN and Local Partners Expand DNS Technical Knowledge in Indonesia

A total of 174 highly engaged participants attended these sessions. Participants represented different stakeholder groups, including government agencies, the technical community, DNS industry (registry and registrars), businesses, academia, and end users.

NEW: ICANN Seeks Input on String Similarity Review Guidelines

In preparation for the expanded scope, which will include variant strings in the next round of gTLDs, the ICANN organization is developing detailed guidelines and seeking the community's feedback.

🔥 ACTION ITEM: Calling for NextGen@ICANN Applications for ICANN80

ICANN wants to hear from university students living and studying in the African region who are interested in the future of the Internet and in participating in the ICANN80 Policy Forum. ICANN80 is scheduled to be held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 10–13 June 2024.
