Thanks for this.  I had no idea they were covering it.

And yes, it is a real gap. Even though there is an impressive and
growing body of research on some aspects of the internet in Africa.

I have just spent 3 days at CPR South which was preceded by the CPR
South Young Scholars Programme

There is some really impressive research being done in Africa on ICT
use, cost, coverage, etc. and how policy and regulation interact with
all these.

Still not much on "internet governance"
