Dear all,

One sometimes confusing question in elections concerns people who
are both individual members as well as official representatives
of an organization: can they vote in both capacities?

Legally, as per NCSG and GNSO rules, they can, and in the past
it has been allowed.

The issue was raised in the election-reform list but no discussion
ensued. NCSG EC discussed it and concluded we'll follow precedent
for now, as changing rules would require more discussion (and should
not be done after election process is already under way), so in
these elections such people can vote in both roles, if they so choose.

The EC expressed intent to open the issue up after current elections
and, if agreed, make an explicit rule about it.
