I agree in concept but lets just remember that ICANNs remit does not include increasing access to the internet, infrastructure and building capacity is not within our remote or mission, hence why I agree that we can definitely use this as a medium for sharing information like this, but I am not so sure about stepping up to the level of NCUC endorsing such an initiative.

Hi Farell and all

I think that as long as we are supporting constituency in ICANN its important for us to support anything that will encourage or boost access to the Internet which invariably affects end-users which we all claim to represent.

What really is the Internet without the translation of domain names into Internet Protocols (IP)?

Therefore, I am endorsing this campaign on behalf of DigitalSENSE Africa Media and urge NCUC to do same on our larger interest.

Deserves support. Highly recommended. Has NCUC not previously supported non domain issues that are internet related?
