Hi,

We echo the concerns surrounding the articulation of 'global public
interest'. It was something we had raised in our comment
<https://comments.ianacg.org/pdf/submission/submission113.pdf> to the ICG
proposal.

We, at the Centre for Communication Governance would fall into that
category of 'hungry academics' and are indeed contemplating a research
project on this aspect. If you have any ideas do feel free to share. We
would be glad to share the outline developed based on your feedback and
inputs.

Thanks and regards

Gangesh
