Congratulations to NCSG for putting two very important motions on the
agenda today for next week's GNSO Council Meeting in Beijing.

Maria Farrell proposed a motion before the GNSO Council to ask the
board to reconsider staff's decision to adopt the controversial
provisions of the staff's "strawman solution" outside of proper process:

A GNSO Councilor from the Registrar Stakeholder Group seconded
Maria's motion.

Also, Wendy Seltzer proposed a motion to council that would permit
the registrars to continue to extend existing rights and obligations
to registrants until the GNSO adopts a consensus supporting the
changes that ICANN is unilaterally trying to impose on registrars
(and Internet users).

Excellent work, ladies! The Beijing GNSO Council Meeting should be
very interesting. :-)

Thank you,
Robin
