NCSG Colleagues

I strongly endorse this move to review and update the NPOC Charter.
Since when, on behalf of my organization, I joined NPOC in 2014 there
have been substantive issues both within the NPOC charter, and between
the NPOC, NCUC and NCSG charters that are in need of review. One, in
particular, for NPOC, has to do with the criteria for membership from
within the not-for-profit and civil society organizations constituency.
There are conflicts between the NCSG and NPOC charters on that matter.

As for a formal process for tracking revisions across NPOC, NCSG and
NCUC I would suggest that NPOC consider proposing a 2 or 3 person
committee responsible for collaboration in communications that keep each
of the efforts informed on what is going on in the other two charter
revisions. I say 2 or 3 since that small group could be one NPOC member
and one NCUC member who also are engaged in the NCSG revision, or
possibly a third member who is only an NCSG member. I look forward to
the ideas of others.
