SUMMARY

This week, plan for the U.S. to cede control of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority to a global multi-stakeholder community likely to be delayed after US Senate Commerce Committee hearing on IANA transition with some senators pushing for two more years delay. Reagarding infrastructure, Microsoft and Facebook plan to build 4,100-mile private undersea cable between US and Europe.
