RE: Application to the ICANN Fellowship and NextGen programs.

This is a clarification with regard to the ICANN Fellowship and NextGen 
Programs. Eligible candidates apply to the programs which are designed 
as introductions to ICANN and related Internet governance and other 
Internet ecosystem issues. They are capacity building initiatives, to 
build capacity within ICANN constituencies, and participant capacities 
for use in their careers and other work. Travel and accommodations are 
covered for successful applicants. Please do not think of the Fellowship 
and NextGen as just travel award programs. Successful applicants are 
expected to participate in structured programs at ICANN events, and 
carry on with the knowledge and skills they acquire.
