Hi everyone,
just to explain on how to join the confcalls:
we use a phone bridge, you find the list of toll-free number for several
countries in the invitation email, and we use the adobe connect (AC), a
web-based solution providing online conferencing features.
it is better to use both when attending the call:
- the phone bridge can be the by default solution if you don't have
reliable Internet access. if you don't find your country toll-free number
in the list you can send email to Maryam to be dialled out by an operator.
you can use either a mobile or landline phone number to receive the call.
- the adobe connect has an audio function, so you can listen to the call
but also speak if you enable the microphone plugin. AC provides us some
features like sharing document in screen, chat for people to interact and
ask question, also a "virtual" queue which make it more easier to manage
and allow people to speak.
if you are travelling and having an internet connection, you can use adobe
connect without problem. you can also use a toll-free number for USA and
call via skype (you dont need credit or paying anything).
